I make
unwanted things
wanted again.
Found Potential started as a habit — I couldn't drive past a garage sale without stopping. It's now a studio, a shop, and a field journal for everything I bring home.

I grew up in a house where nothing was ever really finished with its first purpose. Things got repaired, repurposed, passed around, or tucked away until someone found a use for them again. Over time, I started looking at thrift store finds, garage sale treasures, and forgotten objects the same way.
Found Potential is the part of my brain that sees an old crayon piggy bank at a garage sale and thinks lamp. Or a lonely cat statue and thinks nostalgic cartoon character. Most of these ideas don't work. The ones that do end up on the shop page. I'd be nowhere without the crazy amount of support I receive on these silly flips and the grace of God.
Every piece is one of one (aside from the prints). I document the hunt, the in-between, and the final piece — because the story is half the point.
I'm Nathan Koss — online I go by @ivathan. That's me on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. Found Potential lives at foundpotential.shop.
